“ We really liked the look of the menu and we went into the meal full of optimism. The outdoor patio was quite nice although the table was very wobbly. Our server was friendly. The seafood chowder was good as was the lavender honey lemonade. Unfortunately, the mains were flavourless and very disappointing. We had the scallop dish with grits and pork belly, and the lobster spaghetti. We both ate the proteins and did not eat the rest. Even the proteins were bland. We were so disappointed with the mains that we did not get dessert. I think if we had ordered the more pub type fare (fish n chips or the burger) the food likely would have been better (other tables had ordered them and seemed to enjoy them). I think there's a need for the chef to reevaluate seasonings on the fancier dishes, or rethink the menu to focus more on pub type basics where they seem to have more strength. We really wanted to love it but the mains just didn't cut it. ”

“ First time visit this morning for breakfast after passing this place for years. Why didn't we stop before? Regretful. This was a cool little spot especially sitting in back patio with nice plants and lights etc. Great portions very big. Delicious home fries with onions. Good coffee and tea. Service from Sherry (sorry if misspelled) was energetic and informative. We live in Halifax but will be back. ”

“ This is a Seafood experience you won't want to miss! The Lobster Ravioli has such a beautiful combination of flavors for the palette. The Tuna Tartar was wonderful and well thought-out with certain spices on the chips that made the flavor pop. The servers are exceptionally nice. Always nice to go to a place where you can tell they put care into every detail. Definitely going back to try to Local Foraged Lion's Mane Mushroom Burger! ”

“ Loved the atmosphere. The food was ok. A bit mutton dressed as lamb. Needed more seasoning. The fries were the best part. Ordered a bottle of wine and was asked if we wanted to open and pour it or if we wanted her to. Well if I order a bottle of wine I would expect the server to open and pour. The service wasn't great and we were not quality checked ever. The service needs work and some salt would be great. ”

“ Fresh milkshakes , Fresh Pie , Fresh fish. Lovely seating limited and cozy. Patio , small tables, and large table settings. Staff was pleasant, helpful, and efficient. We had a larger group and they did very well with ensuring things came out together and warm. Wish we could have tried a dinner we did a breakfast and a lunch. Pricing on something's was a bit higher than expected for breakfast lunch items. ”

“ Just go! We were starving after visiting Gran Pre and wanted to pop in for a quick bite to eat before visiting some wineries. This was the ticket! The menu wasn’t long but ample and fresh food! I had a burger served with a topping of a homemade pickle relish. Amazing! I chose the salad as a side to keep my girlish figure the salad was locally sourced and tasty. I then noticed the dessert bar—-the apple pie is birsting with cinnamon flavor-I ate the whole thing! Repeat customer-this time I got Lobster roll-wow… lots of meat, light and airy sauce…the best I’ve ever had! ”

“ I've passed this place many a time on my way to Wolfville, and it's always been super busy, so I've never had the opportunity to stop and eat. Today, I booked reservations for breakfast prior to attending an event in the area and was so glad I did!! Wow. I'm thankful for a small but mighty menu as I often have a difficult time choosing when there's a lot of options. Which proved true when I ordered the Eggs Benedict for breakfast, but ordered one of their buttermilk blueberry pancakes on the side because I needed to try them. The food was sensational. Eggs cooked perfectly. Hollandaise delicious. Super smoky bacon. And the blueberry pancake was also an excellent choice. We had such an enjoyable experience, I brought a piece of their pie home to try. Service was excellent and prices reasonable. We will absolutely return! ”

“ Longfellow was such a lovely experience. We sat on their gorgeous patio on a really nice day. The lobster roll was amazing and came with (i'm not kidding) one of the best salads I have ever had. The fish and chips were also delicious and the tartar sauce was so unique and tasty. Service was great and the restaurant itself is really well-designed. Highly recommend! ”
